The 2010 Audlem Parish Plan has been printed and copies were distributed door to door in December 2010.
The 2010 Plan is a follow-up to the 2005 Parish Plan and has been produced by a team of almost fifty volunteers working in nine working groups. In addition, sections on Law & Order and Local Governance were produced by members of the Steering Group.
Funding for printing has been provided by a grant from Cheshire Community Action.

The Plan includes the ideas from working groups; proposals and commentary on local governance and law & order; Action Plans covering the next five years to ensure as many proposals as possible are carried out; and the results of the survey late last year of local residents and students from Audlem at Brine Leas school.
Many of the projects described in the Plan are now being carried through. Early examples include providing a hard all-weather surface to 720m of towpath to the north of the village near the Overwater Marina; the Parish Council-funded improvement of the path down from the car park/playing field to Audlem Wharf and the provision of touch screen computers promoting local tourism and attractions.
Many of the Working Groups will continue to meet to ensure the Action Plans detailed in the Parish Plan are carried out. If you would like to get involved, please contact editor@audlem.org
