Turnpike Field Footpath improvements

This project was very successfully completed in the middle of January 2023.
The next major relief was when Peaks & Northern Footpaths Society, and Cheshire East, both approved the work and released the grant funding that paid for it.

The project itself however, could never have been completed without the help of many volunteers offering their physical assistance.
In addition, the provision of machinery was very crucial -- you may remember pictures of Richard Furber in his tractor, dragging boardwalk wooden sections across the field. Also there's the free storage for materials that was provided by Yvonne Parker and the storage and machinery provided by Norman Huntbach.
Finally there is the huge assistance from Dylan Jones, who very generously donated his time, skill and machinery.
