Turnpike Field is a community asset, owned by Audlem Parish Council, for the enjoyment and use by all members of the village.
In addition to providing a place for outdoor recreation and an appreciation of natural wildlife habitats, the field has been regularly used by families and friends for informal picnics and walks.
To help plan and manage the development of the land, the Turnpike Field Working Group (TFWG) comprises up to five Audlem Parish Councillors and up to six volunteers from the community.

Green Lane Field access gate -- at CW3 0ES
Public Footpath Access
FP26 crosses the southern end of the field next to Grey's Bridge on Green lane, across to Lock 11 on the Shropshire Union Canal.
